When you are on Low calorie Diet, you should avoid alcohol consumption as alcoholic beverages contains calories ranging from 300 to 800 calories.

Low calorie diet helps you to lose weight by restricting your calorie intake to 1,000 to 1,500 calories per day. But you should remember one thing that this calorie intake restriction should come from a healthy and nutritionally rich diet.

Things to be remebered before Starting a Low Calorie Diet

  • You should know how much calories you have to reduce. It is generally 1500 calories for a woman and 2000 to 2200 for a man.
  • Keep a weight dairy to note down every single thing you eat, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant. Work out on which kind of foods in diet suits you. Get into the habit of reading the habit of reading the labels on the food. Use a smaller plate than the usual plate.
  • If you are going for a low calorie diet, you will be eating fewer calories than your body needs. For this reason body burns the fat to replace these remaining calories, which ultimately making you to feel hungry. So you have to live on hunger pangs. If the hunger is really unbearable, eat some fruits.
